How information is handled

This notice describes the public Sterling Digital Partners website and its property-records guide. Glove sign-in and product use are separate from the guide’s measurement described below.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, referrers and page performance. Cloudflare adds its analytics script to the served website. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for information about the service.

Property-records guide actions

We count guide loads, openings of Glove coverage and sample links, successful worksheet copies, download clicks and print requests. Our counter stores only the UTC day, a fixed action name, the guide version, a live/test label and an aggregate count. It does not store visitor or session identifiers, IP addresses, property addresses, parcel IDs, worksheet contents, credentials or packet contents. No cookies or browser storage are used by this counter. Each action is counted at most once per page load; these totals do not identify unique people or establish product use.

The guide-action counter does not send events when the browser exposes Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, or when the guide is opened with ?measurement=off. This switch applies to our guide-action counter, not to Cloudflare Web Analytics. Network requests still pass through our hosting provider as described below.

Field-study notifications

If you ask to be told when a field study is published for your market, we store your email address, the market you chose and the date you asked. Nothing else: no name, no IP address, no browser or device information, and no link to the counts described above, which hold no personal data and are kept in a separate database.

We use it once, to tell you that study is out. We do not add you to a newsletter, we do not use it for marketing and we do not share, sell or pass it to anyone. Ask us at chris@sterlingdp.com and we will delete it, without asking why.

Information you send by email

If you voluntarily contact us by email, we may use the information you provide—including your name, email address, and the contents of your message—to review and respond to your inquiry and maintain related business records.

Routine technical information

Our website hosting provider may process routine technical logs needed to deliver, secure, and maintain the site. These logs may include information such as an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and the date and time of a request. The provider’s handling of that information is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.
